FieldBeacons is a real-time field operations platform that gives managers and dispatchers live visibility into where their team is, what they're doing, and what needs attention. It's designed specifically for field-service businesses like HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, cleaning services, and more.
Unlike bloated field service management platforms, FieldBeacons focuses on one thing: real-time operational awareness. We're not trying to replace your scheduling, invoicing, or CRM software. We integrate with your existing tools to add a live visibility layer that shows you what's actually happening in the field right now.
FieldBeacons works great for any business with mobile workers visiting multiple locations. Our most common customers are in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning services, property maintenance, security patrol, and pest control. Privacy & Tracking
No. FieldBeacons is designed to give managers operational awareness, not to spy on workers. We focus on status visibility (who's on-site, who's driving, who's available) rather than constant location tracking. Workers can see exactly what the company sees, and tracking only happens during work hours by default.
Yes. By default, FieldBeacons only tracks activity during configured work hours. Outside of those hours, the app goes dormant. Workers can also manually pause tracking for breaks or personal time. Personal time stays personal.
FieldBeacons collects location data and motion data to determine status (driving, on-site, idle). We don't access contacts, photos, messages, or any other personal data on worker devices. All data is encrypted and stored securely, and companies control how long history is retained.
Yes. The worker app clearly shows the current status and whether tracking is active. There's no hidden tracking—workers always know exactly what the company can see.
Setup & Usage
Setup is simple. Managers create a company workspace in about 5 minutes. Workers download the app and join with a company code—about 5 minutes per person. Most teams are fully set up in less than a day, with no training required.
Workers use the FieldBeacons mobile app, available for iOS (iPhone) and Android. Managers can access the dashboard from any web browser on desktop or mobile. No special hardware is required.
Yes. FieldBeacons integrates with popular field service management tools like ServiceTitan, Jobber, and Housecall Pro. We also support Zapier for connecting to hundreds of other apps, and provide webhooks and API access for custom integrations.
FieldBeacons is designed to be battery-efficient. The app uses smart detection to minimize GPS usage when possible, and many users report minimal impact on battery life. The app also only runs during work hours, preserving battery outside of work.
Teams & Scaling
Absolutely. Our Starter plan supports teams up to 10 workers, and many of our customers are small crews of 5-10 people. FieldBeacons is designed to be simple enough for small teams while scaling to larger operations.
Yes. FieldBeacons works great for solo technicians making service calls as well as crews working together on job sites. You can see individual worker status or monitor entire crews.
Yes. FieldBeacons supports organizing workers into teams, locations, or branches. Managers can view their entire operation or filter to specific groups.
Pricing & Billing
Yes! All plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You'll have full access to all features during the trial.
An active worker is anyone who uses the FieldBeacons mobile app during your billing period. Workers who are inactive (on leave, seasonal, etc.) don't count toward your limit until they use the app again.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Yes. You can choose monthly or annual billing. Annual billing includes 2 months free (equivalent to about 17% off).
